The following information details salon late cancellation policy. To keep this fair for everyone, we apply the same policy to all late changes, regardless of the reason. In short, if you cancel or postpone an appointment less than 24 hours before your scheduled start time, you are at risk of incurring a late cancellation fee.
$50 Late Cancellation Fee: Customers cancelling or postponing an appointment less than 3 hours before their scheduled start time are responsible for paying a late cancellation fee of $50 per scheduled hour.
$25 Late Cancellation Fee: Customers cancelling or postponing an appointment between 3 and 24 hours before their scheduled start time are responsible for paying a $25 late cancellation fee.
Why we enforce it evenly: Because personal circumstances vary widely, we’ve learned that the fairest approach is to apply one consistent policy for every situation. This helps us respect everyone’s time — clients and stylists alike — without asking personal questions or making judgments about the reason for a change.
The Good News: if you’re at risk of triggering the late cancellation fee BUT we are able to fill your appointment slot for you, then we will waive the late cancellation fee altogether.
This means that the more time you give us, the better chance we have of getting you off the hook. Call us as soon as possible!
